Location Information
         We have been in our new building since April of last year, yet there still seems to be a number of people that are not aware that we have moved and are not finding us at the new location, even though you must pass our new location on the way to and from the old location. For those who could not see the logo on the door, we have had a permanent sign attached to the side of the building that can be prominently seen coming own the hill from the stop light.
 
New magazine article
          This month's Mobile Electronics Magazine had an article from MECP regarding certification. In the article was a section regarding MECP Master Certifaction and the recent increase in the number of certified Masters, our industry's highest professional honor, increase of almost 25% this last year to 84. As you may know, our company's founder Shawn Sexton was the 36th certified Master, becoming so back in 1994, almost 14 years ago. As a certified Master, as well as one of the thirteen people on the national test writing and certification committee, Shawn is able to Proctor the test to anyone interested in this industry professional certification. If interested, please contact Shawn.
 
Certifications
          Street Sports attended quite a few schools, seminars, and technical training over the years.  Shawn just returned from his most recent training on many facets of modern automotive diagnotics taught by one of the industry's leading technicians, Mark Warren of Arizona. Mark is most well known for his articles in Motor magazine. He is the only person from the aftermarket industry to sit on the board with the EPA and has been instrumental as one of the individuals responsible for coming up with the OBD2 standards.

Street Sports Weekly Cruise-In  
          Looks like the cruise in location will soon be gone to make way for a new dealership (well not new exactly, just moved). We are considering whether or not to revive one of our old classics. If anyone is truly interested and might be willing to help, please contact us. Media Coverage of Street Sports

Honda Tuning Magazine, Honda Tuning magazine is publishing another feature article on one of our customer's vehicles that we helped to build.  Congratulation's to John McCann on the article.  It should be in the next issue.  We will post the information as we learn it.

The Fast And The Furious Movie Premiere, Cinemark Theatres asked us to help them promote the release of the new movie. Lexington's WLEX-TV Channel 18 was there to ask us about the movie.  The interview was aired on Friday, June 22nd, 2001 during the 5 o'clock news. Click here to see photos from the premiere

2001 Midwest Nationals Commercial, Special Events Company used our second generation Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T (owned by Greg Rexroat) to shoot the commercial that they are using to promote the show on local and regional television stations. Click here to see the shoot

2000 Midwest Nationals Win, 106.3FM in Lexington interviewed us live on the air at the Midwest Nationals after our win on June 17th, 2000. Thanks to the DJ and the staff of the Nationals for all their help.

2000 Midwest Nationals Commercial, Special Events Company used our 92 Honda Prelude SiR to shoot the commercial that they used to promote the show on local and regional television stations. Click here to see the shoot

Calendar 2000, We made it into the Keystone Year 2000 Calendar. We are the April feature vehicle. These calendars are being sold at automotive shops around the country. We received 500 calendars at the shop and are currently giving them out at no charge to anyone who wishes to have one. Once they are gone we will not be receiving any more so get one now.
